Benji is One!

Today, Benji is one year old. Here is his state of play:

1. He crawls very quickly and fluidly.
2. He climbs up stairs and onto low beds and chairs.
3. He's not "cruising" yet really, though he walks haltingly holding on to someone's hands.
4. Stranger anxiety has set it. He's prefers Sun Ayi, Mom and Dad, in that order, really. He loves his sister and laughs at everything she does. He's ok with his grandparents sometimes--mostly if they have food for him (see next point).
5. This kid can eat. He will eat anything and everything and at all times of day. If he's just eaten a big meal, and the rest of us are sitting down to eat, he'll join us and eat some more. Sometimes he spits out the food that's it his mouth to make room for what's coming next. If you don't hurry up and put food in his mouth, he becomes agitated and angry.
6. He doesn't need breast milk much anymore. But when he wants it, he makes it known through a unique whimper.
