Today is Yaya's first day of school, in the Pre-K 1 class. She proudly donned her new shoes and a cute pink dress this morning, slung her pink rabbit backpack ("bak-kak") over her shoulder, and yelled "bye-bye Benji" as she galavanted out the front door. Her teachers this year are Hu and Lei Laoshi for the Chinese class, and Abs (Abner) and Janet for the English. Her class has 16 kids--Chinese, Norwegian, German, English, American, Korean, and Japanese. Should be an interesting year.
